Steve is the Founder & CEO of The Cannabis Wellness Group, a B2B and B2C lead-generation platform to industry resources and medical cannabis professionals. In addition to leading Cannabusiness Consulting, Steve launched Grandma And Her Gummies, an educational podcast about safe and effective cannabis use for everyone.

Steve graduated with honors (Rho Chi & Phi Kappa Phi) from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Maryland to earn a Master of Science in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics. His capstone research project was titled “Medical Education Program for Seniors (65+)” and it was selected Top 5 by the student body. He has been a featured speaker at the University of Maryland Spring Symposium, the South-eastern Hemp & Medical Cannabis Convention and the CannabizMD Forum on Cannabis Science + Policy. As an advisor, Steve co-founded the CannabizMD Foundations Program in Cannabis Science and Policy© which is a top-tier executive education program designed to develop and strengthen cannabis business acumen and leadership capabilities. He also sits on the Corporate and Business Committee for the Council for Federal Cannabis Regulation (CFCR). 

Steve’s career highlights include executive leadership and sales roles at global companies such as American Express (18-years), Citigroup and the Collinson Group as well as more recent unicorns + start-ups such as GreenSky (acquired by Goldman Sachs), Points.com, Infoteam and Loylogic Zurich.
